The Foundry Reception

"As artists we are manifesting thought into reality every time we create." -- Cristina Acosta

I caught these two ladies viewing my work at Friday night's FOUNDRY WATERCOLOR SHOW reception.

The reception was a nice event with lots of people interested in the works. Great food layout and good wine. I did not win, but the exposure and just being accepted into the show was special for me. I plan to visit again and take more photos. Wonderful exhibit!

This is a shot taken just inside the front door.
The strings of lights hanging vertically at the right
faced the food layout and wine bar. Classy.

And this shot was taken inside Gallery I.
Isn't this a perfectly lovely space?

Fort Worth, Texas Exhibit 12/8-12/30/06

"There's no scarcity of opportunity to make a living at what you love. There is only a scarcity of resolve to make it happen." -- Wayne Dyer

The following pieces are on display at the Fort Worth, Texas Community Arts Center. This is an unusual exhibit, as all works are on display sans mats and frames and must be 9x12 or less in size. I selected 5 pieces. Over 900 pieces were submitted last year from over 40 states. This is used as a fundraiser by the Center. All works are sold for $100, with 20% commission. Clever idea and a nice way for people to pickup some original art as reasonable price.
